In the Swatch new collection offered this summer, brand brings back bright primary colors with a bang this summer. And that’s not all; the iconic Gent and New Gent are the latest models to get in on the brand’s responsible action. Earlier this year, Swatch launched its game-changing BIOCERAMIC innovative material, a mix of ceramic powder and bio-sourced plastic with the BIG BOLD line.

Pops of color are, well… popping this season. And using a monochromatic palette as a base, Swatch injects splashes of super-saturated shades of red, yellow and blue onto the signature movement elements-making them stand out loud and proud. While the unique BIOCERAMIC mix gives the watches an incredibly soft and silky touch, their lightweight and water-resistance are perfect for poolside lounging.

SWATCH – The Journey Continues

Swatch started a revolution in 1983 with the smart introduction of watches responsibly made out of 51 components only. All watch lovers know that the worth of the watch is determined by the number of components used. Generally, Swiss watches contain much more components and this introduction was definitely a milestone. Thirty-seven years later, the brand introduced bio-sourced plastic, which debuted in the BIORELOADED collection in September 2020. This was a successful step and another novelty was on its way. Today, BIOCERAMIC comes as the new addition to SWATCH NEXT, the latest release in a run of disruptive ideas.
